Turd Ferguson This showcases why Chaos Luciferi is one of my favorite Italian black metal artists. Moody, melodic riffs arranged in a very satisfying manner. Even the dungeon synth intro and outro tracks are gorgeous and unskippable. Excellent work!

Tulekahju Renartus By far this is Chaos' best work, it fixes most of the flaws I heard on the previous material, and intensifies the overall atmosphere of his music. The drums are powerful and varied; the guitar riffs, though being very old school and simple, are still strong and engaging; Luciferi's vocals completes the platter with his typical scream.

Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this. Luke
